Noel Quinlan (陆昆仑) is an Australian-born New Age and world music composer known for blending traditional Chinese elements with modern instrumentation. Starting his career as a professional guitarist at 15, he became a top session musician in Australia before moving to Asia, where he made a lasting impact on the music industry.

In Hong Kong, he founded the city’s first jingle house and multi-track studio, composing iconic music for major global brands and producing for top Chinese artists such as Teresa Teng and Roman Tam. He has scored over 40 films, worked with orchestras worldwide, and composed for television shows including the long-running Yan Can Cook.

His landmark Middle Kingdom series fused ancient Chinese melodies with modern sounds, selling over a million copies and influencing a generation of Chinese music producers. As the founder of Big Sky Records, Quinlan continues to bridge East and West through music. Based in both Sydney and Hong Kong, he remains active in composing, producing, and developing new musical theatre projects.
